The RADiO REELERS formed in San Francisco in the early months of 2001 united by a common love for cheap beer, hot tail and dirty Rock N Roll. Proclaimed SAN FRANCISCOS ONLY ROCK N ROLL BAND, these 4 career musicians always know how to get the party started. Singer/guitarist Adam "The Howlin' Hot Dog" Caine had already conquered San Fran. with the Trust Fund Babies, the Shrinks and the Spites. Joining Adam were guitar hero/singer Lightnin' Jeff Glave who played with Tucson, AZ garage rock legends the Fells (Estrus Records) for eight years, bassist Red Hot Hector Jaime who came from Tucson's punk rock kingpins the Weird Lovemakers (Empty Records) and drummer Tony Taco who did time in the Tramps, the Shrinks and Killswitch. After numerous local gigs, and a few low-brow recording sessions, the Reelers weren't satisfied with just being seen as San Franciscos premier party band. They knew their tunes were catchy, and that a wider audience would appreciate and respect their loose brand of raw raunchy rock n roll.

The RADiO REELERS first break came with the NOW highly collectible, and long out-of-print "Radio Feelin'" EP that was released in December 2001 on Zaxxon Virile Action. A remarkable debut that gained them instant respect mainly because of their talented song writing craftsmanship, and ,well, that whole ex-member thing. This garnered the attention of Tom from Radio Blast Records (Germany) who agreed to release their smash 'Rockin' Sound' album. This 45 RPM VINYL ONLY masterpiece Tom describes as the "missing link between the DEVIL DOGS, the DIALTONES and 1977". Right on!! The reviews for ‘Rockin’ Sound’ were mainly favorable with Maximum Rock N Roll stating ""This Fuckin' Rocks. It's not fancy or complicated, but it is bad ass punk rock! Just in case you're wondering, this get's my highest recommendation!" Well with a review like that, and 3 TOP TENS, you can’t get much better press from the MaxRR crew!

Hot off the heals of 'Rockin' Sound', the Reelers knew they were nowhere near the end of the tunnel with this band. They'd tell you: the party's just getting started and we're lightning years away from last call! With their song writing abilities completely honed and their undying drive for their music and this band., the Reelers were ready to hit the studio again. With tons o booze, and a fat stack of killer new tunes, the RADiO REELERS went into Bart Thurbers notorious House of Faith Stuidios to track their 2nd album. The results were phenomenal!! This aptly titled 'Shakin' At The Party!’ LP/CD contains 10 BRAND NEW AND UNRLEASED killer cuts of the impecably catchy low-brow high-energy rock' n' roll that the RADiO RELLERS are known for.

In the tradition of great bands like the Devil Dogs, Real Kids, Teenage Head and the Heartbreakers, the RADiO REELERS combine catchy tunes with monster hooks and big choruses perfect for singing along in the car. This band believes in the true powers of rock' n' roll and it shows in every chord they play. Just check out them amped up Chuck Berry-espue riffs in ‘Jukebox’ and ‘Saturday Night’ or the insatiably catchy choruses on ‘Target On Yer Heart’ and the title track ‘Shakin’ At The Party!’. Enough to make even the purest die hard rock n roll aficionado, a true believer in the talents of this great SF garage band.

The RADiO REELERS have already gotten a slew of killer press mainly because of the whole ex- Fells, Trust Fund Babies, Weird Lovemakers thing, but this new band really does stand on their own musically. Check out 'Shakin' At The Party!' and always remember that Every night is Saturday night with the RADiO REELERS!!
