The Stitches- 8 x 12 LP
-The first 16 seconds of this LP are everything you need to know about the Stitches. Mike Lohrman counts off, sounding oddly alone, the room echoing behind him. The song lurches: raw, ragged, as low and slow as a B-17 bomber. But before you can finish the thought, theyve jumped a beat ahead. The song revs up and then doubles over itself. Its all those months of speed and strangling boredom; its a band fucked up on meth and booze as they were every session, pushing everything out as fast and hard as they can because for all they know, its going to disappear again into a black hole of white noise, just like the last time they tried to record. There isnt a shred of calculation or restraint in this entire LP. Its nothing but instinct soon to be a Stitches trademark. This is without a doubt the best punk rock record of the 1990s.The STITCHES are the true kings of the underground and 8x12 is there masterpiece. 100% pure PUNK ROCK!!!! Wake up people the STITCHES are the real Mckoy!!!!

TKO RECOREDS (USA)
Real Kids- Down To You 7”
-This Boston-based punk-rock band is led by guitarist/vocalist/songwriter John Felice. Felice grew up in Natick, Massachusetts as a neighbor and friend of Jonathan Richman, a fellow fan of The Velvet Underground. As a 15-year old he joined Richman in the first line-up of The Modern Lovers in late 1970. He performed with the band intermittently between then and 1973. Felice than decided to start his own band, and formed The Real Kids (originally named The Kids), in 1972, with Rick Coraccio (bass), Steve Davidson (guitar), and Norman Bloom (drums). They became a successful live band in the Boston area, playing "an aggressive brand of straight-ahead, no-bullshit rock which harkened back to Chuck Berry, had overtones of the British Invasion groups at their mod finest, yet pointed the way towards a new genre at that time called punk. Capable of writing great, catchy pop-rock material, Felice and Real Kids opted for sloppy, beer and drug-induced "who cares" punk attitude, making them darlings of local CBGB's-styled scene, but ultimately keeping them from larger, mainstream success. This is another two song winner for the Real Kids, and still makes you scratch your head wondering why they're not bigger.

Live Fast Die- Bandana Thrash Bloopers 7”
-Another awesome LFD blaster here! Fast punkrock, lo fi and garagey as all h*e*ll. Doesn't really sound like anything else but reminds of a lot of great stuff like the Mummies, GG and the Reatards. Great songs, great sound, great band. This single contains 3 songs including a searing take on the Wards classic 'Gonna Have Some Fun'. Yeah this is f**u**cking awesome!!! FRENCH IMPORT THAT WAS LIMITED TO 500 COPIES!!!!

Bellrays- S/T 7”
-This is the newest single from this great Los Angeles band, that continue to perfect the rock n soul subgenre that they miticuloudly created. 2 track on this single ‘You Got The Power’ and ‘Les Cornichons’ that show why they continue to be one of the best soul driven rock n roll bands of our time. Bonus props for the really nice looking THICK ass cardboard sleeve. Get it while ya can as it was limited to 500 COPIES!!

HC CLASSICS (Finland)

Black Flag- White Minority LP
-Black Flag was a hardcore band that formed in 1977 in southern California, largely as the brainchild of Greg Ginn: the guitarist, primary songwriter and sole continuous member through multiple personnel changes. They are widely considered the first hardcore punk band.

Black Flag forged a unique sound early on that mixed the raw simplicity of the Ramones with atonal and microtonal guitar solos and frequent tempo shifts. Over this could be heard lyrics—mostly written by Ginn—about isolation, neurosis, poverty, and paranoia; themes which did not disappear when Henry Rollins took on the role of lead singer in 1981.

This LP shows Black Flag live in their prime at the Starship club in Milwaukee onJuy 17th, 1981 and the track list destoys from start to finish. The back of the LP jacket also shows some really cool old photos of the band. A must for the Black Flag fan.

Husker Du- Ultracore LP
-Hüsker Dü was a US punk rock band formed in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1979. The band's continual members were guitarist Bob Mould, bassist Greg Norton, and drummer Grant Hart. Hüsker Dü never achieved mainstream success, but attained an influence far larger than its modest sales figures would indicate when the band was around. Following a series of successful albums, including Zen Arcade (1984) and New Day Rising (1985), the band signed to Warner Bros. Records in 1986, becoming one of the first American underground rock bands to sign with a major record label.

Hüsker Dü first gained notice as a hardcore punk band with thrashing tempos and screamed vocals and this LP captures the band in the heart of that prime. This LP was recorded live at the Backstage on December 28th 1982 in Tucson, AZ. The back of the LP jacket also includes some cool flyers from shows that they played sharing the stage with the likes of the D*icks, The Vandals, Youth Brigade, Conflict, Minutemen and the Stains. A must for the Husker Du fan.

Dead Kennedys- Moral Majority LP
-Great sound for a live record. The LP includes a 14 song live set from the DK’s recorded live in London on July 4th 1982.

DEMOLITION DERBY (Belgium)
Electric Frankenstein- The Time Is Now! LP
-The best, most exciting punkish album from New York in over a decade is no small feat. Consider how many have been made in that time! But The Time Is Now is the real McCoy. Song after song rips by, with the requisite drive, energy, tight power, muscle, attitude, and smacking chops. This is punk built on guitar riffs -- mean, angry, and measured -- paired with the clean, dense production often favored by Australians. In fact, a few songs echo the power riff from the Saints' "(I'm) Stranded," and Steve M.'s barking vocals recall the aggressive yelp of the Misfits' Glenn Danzig (without the crooning) or Dead Boy Stiv Bators. From the crunching "E. F. Theme" (formerly a 7" on Minttone), to the equally seething "Teenage Shutdown," "Rise and Crash," and "Fast and Furious," there's no letup, just mid-tempo rockin' killers led by two early '80s punks, guitarists Jim Foster (from the original lineup of Adrenalin O.D.) and Sal Canzonieri. Hot stuff, and hard-as-nails rock & roll.

The Accident- no romance for you LP
-This was originally released on CD in January 1999 in an edition of 1000 copies & was sold out before the end of that year. Since then there were numerous requests for a repress & now it is available again in a limited edition of 500 copies only on LP! A must for all Killed by Death fans. Worldwide exclusive vinyl version of the cd on Chuckie-Boy recs (Seattle) of this 1979 Olympia,Wa punk rock band who were featured on KilledBy Death#9 with their 7" 'Kill the Bee Gees'. This LP has the complete 7" + their entire recorded output available for the first time on vinyl! Get it while you can!!

Lewd- Kill Yourself...Again 2xLP
-Been waiting for this reissue for nearly 15 years. Finally a legal reissue of the 7" (tracks 1-3), the LP (4-15), plus 1978 demos (16-24), Kill Yourself Outtakes (25-27) and two tracks from the first San Francisco demo (28-29). I still like the 7" and LP best, but hey, you're get these awesome demot tracks on top of that. Top notch absolutely essential San Francisco punk. Reccomended!!

Jewws- S/T LP
-One of Texas's most talked about garage-rock bands give us 14 more reasons to gawk and gossip. Obssessed with outer space and love gone wrong, THE JEWWS take on mid-90's primitive punk makes it sound fresh and new again. Belgian Import.

Jet Boys- Jet Patrol Lp
-Exclusive vinyl version of the Japan-only cd release with new artwork. Buckle your seatbelts.the Jet Boys are the long-standing dukes of Japanese pervo punk and never fail to impress with their revved up junkie rock and over-the-top graphic identity...a Japanese Mad Magazine punk combo with cool Johnny Thunders guitar licks and damn-the-torpedoes-full-speed-ahead attitude....willfully stupid Ritalin rock for you hyperactive children with expense accounts. RECCOMENDED!!!

Skip Jensen- Abscond LP
-Newest album here from Skip Jensen recorded in between Demon’s Claws tours. For an idea what this Scat Rag Booster and now one-man band sounds like, imagine blues-punk sung by Pere Ubu’s Dave Thomas with his foot caught in a bear trap. That, of course, is a very good thing. All songs were recorded in Jensen’s bathroom with a four-track on the crapper, capturing every howl, tiled reverb, foot stomp and out-of-tune twang in glorious lo-fi. Jensen’s songs are best bare, and on songs like “High Horses,” he proves to be well versed in the blues. His great take on garage folk on “Promised Land” shows the homework has paid off well. Fans of Hasil Adkins, Oblivians and Bloodshot Bill should take note.

The Perverts- For Perverts 7”
-Old single from the late great Perverts. 4 more blasts of the same fuzzed out mayhem that has made their live shows legendary. Along with The Fuzztones, The Lyres, and The Chesterfield Kings, the Perverts keep the scuzz a flowing. Oldie, but goodie here.

HELL’S TONE RECORDS (Finland)
KYRE & DUUNARIT - S/T 7”
-“Hell Yes!! These bad boys from Finland kick you in the friggin’ head. This music is OI flavored Street Punk, with bass and drums bombarding you, guitars chuggin along and gruff vocals tearing your laynyx out! The SEVEN songs on this EP are all sung in Finnish and the lyrics sheet is printed all Finnish (as it should be). Musically this shit is tough as nails!! The blood- curdling deep vocals will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up!! Good shit--reccomended for skinheads and punks from Finland to Philadelphia”- Maximum Rock N Roll. If you’re into stuff like the Templars or Bonecrusher, you gottat hear these guys. Great EP.

Rejected/Stranded -Split 7"
-Stranded plays melodic old-school punk-rock which can pretty easily blow your mind away. The group got together early in 2004. The band members are all well-known figures in the Finnish punk-rock scene. In the 90's lead singer I.Striker & bassist Sid Razor played together in L.A.M.F. which is widely recognised as the most vicious and obnoxious punk-rock band ever to come out from Finland. The other members of the band are no greenhorn's either, guitarist Wayne led his own band Nollaseiska to a decent success. Wayne even toured with the legendary TV Smith in Finland. Henkka played in Endstand who toured Europe a few times. Backing them are Finnish mainstays the Rejected. Musically there's some neat Social Distortion lead guitar bits in there with overall effect being Swedish oi kinda similar to Hard Sell or the Templars. Really good tunes overall from the Rejected.

Verticals-S/T LP
-14 songs of punkified surfey garage rock. Kind of like and amped up Man Or Astroman. Didn’t think I was going to like this, but god damn if these songs aren’t catchy. Listened to it at least 10 times now, which is more than many records get playage over here. LIMITED TO 500 COPIES AND ALREADY OUT OF PRINT!!

Antti Tuska & Vähämieliset: Kosmista Suhinaa 7"
-ANTTI TUSKA & VÄHÄMIELISET will have their debut 7" single "Live in Lappeenranta" out in fall. It will finally include live songs only, because the band's studio sessions this far have been drunk disasters and it seems a studio record might never happen for them. If that didn't tell you the story yet, ANTTI TUSKA & VÄHÄMIELISET (named after a Finnish pop star Antti Tuisku) is an hardcorepunk band from Lappeenranta, who are known for being drunk as fuck on and off stage and always having a hilariously violent, raging live set. For fans of Kyre & Duunarit, Maho Neitsyt, any early Finnish hardcore will dig.

Anal Thunder- 4 AM Illusion LP
-When you think of Finland, what do you think of? Grind, Crust, Oi? Perhaps but drinking, snotty, spitty, nihilistic skatepunk? No. That´s just not Finland (well, except drinking part) but apparently these guys are that. And they even have a split with one of my favourite HC bands No Reedming Social Value that rules! Well this is drinking, fuckin and nihilistic apathy skatepunk and it’s pretty damn good. LIMITED TO 500 COPIES IN A GATEFOLD SLEEVE!!

BARSE- Negative Reaction CD
-Yes! I LOVE this shit! Durham, England's Barse sound SO authentically "UK 1977" that it's scary! And I mean that in a GOOD way. These blokes have all the raw, snotty, anthemic vigor of a young Slaughter and The Dogs or a less-poppy BOYS, but they don't sound like rip-offs. They sound like the real thing. It's as if they just stepped out of a time machine. There are eighteen songs on this record, and they're all goddamn BRILLIANT. I'm talking fast, tuneful, totally-fucking-great punk rock with real limey vocals. I'm talking bratty, primitive, catchy-as-hell three-chord noise. Barse have it all: style, attitude, and great songs to boot. I could listen to this record all day. God bless BARSE!!!

Barse- If You Can't Fuck Em, Cut Em Up! CD
-Fifteen tracks of obnoxious street punk from Britain in vein of COCKSPARRER, OXYMORON, BLITZ, MACC LADS, etc. If you can't tell form the title, this band specializes in overly sacrastic and intentionally offensive lyrics. If you feel the need to piss off your parents, neighbors and church-going passers by than play this one super loud. Of course do it at your own peril as you don't want to end up murdered by your girlfriend like the lead vocalist of this band was a few weeks after this album was recorded! Seriosly....WOAHHHHHHHHHH!

Heartburns/Barse- Split 7"
-The Heartburns mix old late 70’s and early 80’s influences such as The Ramones or The Misfits with modern stuff like Zeke and Puffball. Another two great songs full of energy and mean leads. The Heartburns must totally shred live. Backing them is our favority UK bad boys Barse. BARSE play '77 style punk that's in the early BUZZCOCKS vein, awesome! The vocals are in the semi heavy Brit accent and the lyrics are totally fucking retarded, like ANGRY SAMOANS "back from Samoa" era. Their two songs are ‘Spunk In My Tea’ and “Breaking Up Is Easy To Do”. Two more winners from BARSE here. LIMITED COPIES AVAILABLE ON BRIGHT BLUE WAX!!

Barse- They Said It Couldn't Happen Here... And It Didn't! LP/CD
-These great 1977 style punx dropped the "77" from the name and now are simply know as BARSE. Oh my fucking god the very first song on this disc already kills the "NEGATIVE REACTION" CD, and that record totally slays. These cunts have gotten so good...better guitar, catchy songs and even more soulful empasioned vocals! Like their obvious influences BARSE seem to have the uncanny ability to stumble from one hopeless situation to another and then another, but instead of getting bitter and twisted about it they just go home and write songs about it. Songs we can all relate to, have a smile about and get on with it. P-fucking Rock in the vein of THE VIBRATORS, CHELSEA and BUZZCOCKS. This ones as good as a cold beer on a hot summer day. LIMITED COPIES OF THE LP ON WHITE!!!

OIL RIVER RECORDS (USA)
Black Knots- Hellbent to Kick It Out CD
-At root, the Black Knots walk the line of AC/DC, Turbonegro, Danko Jones, Nashville Pussy, Devil Dogs, Zeke, George Thorogood and the New Bomb Turks. Many bands similar but different, uncompromising but the same. There will always be cookie cutter bands regurgitating popular styles and teen movie representations of suburban angst. At least in the reigning rock community there is a level of comfort in knowing that the airwaves are a little dirtier due to the Black Knots doing what so many other bands forgot was possible… Kickin’ it out! They are a high-energy cross of old punk textures, Social Distortion-esque song writing and with the driving force of Motorhead. Love this disc. If like any of the above mentioned bands, you need this one. RECCOMENDED!!

BIG NECK RECORDS (USA)
Lost Sounds- Memphis Is Dead LP/CD
-Finally, Big Neck Records has gotten around to repressing The Lost Sounds first full length LP on WHITE VINYL! This was the very first foray by Jay Reatard (The Reatards, Destruction Unit, Bad Times) and Alicja Trout (The Fitts, The Clears, Destruction Unit) into his apocalyptic musical nightmare of digital music meets garage rock. So, you can listen to it the way it was meant to be, in analog, through a needle, out of piecemeal built speakers, and on your home stereo system. Every one of these tracks are disturbing with their frothing rage, unrestrained beauty, and wild abandonment.

KK Rampage- S/T CD
-After the demise of the Functional Blackouts, Dr. Filth decided to go his own direction and joined the already formed KK Rampage. Originally released as a 10” ep on Rococo Records with a very small pressing, Dr Filth and KK Rampage asked Big Neck to re-release this record on CD with 3 added tracks. 10 tracks of Noise Rock, comparable to the Lost Sounds on speed or even sounding like something that would come from Load Records or Skingraft. Pretty heavy ear pummeling shit hear. Awesome cover art by Dr. Filth as well.

Hollywood- Hits An All Time Low LP/CD
-Hits And All Time Low compiles the HOLLYWOOD lads' first two singles with seven new cuts from their final days as a freebasing teen trio (a 2 guitars and drum assault -- 100% bass free!). 12 ragers in all, including a Pretty Things cover that is less than pretty. Packing enough slimy-swagger to fill your speakers and leave a rotgut residue you won't ever wanna wipe after. With songs concerning the Middle East ("Human B.B.Q"), your mom ("Momma"), neighborhood creeps ("Toucher"), pretty boys ("Girl?"), and Ione Skye ("Ione Skye") there's something for literally EVERYONE living OR breathing. That's why Big Neck Records, longtime purveyors of all things sonically ROCK, have shelled out for 500 of these fuggers in both beautiful LP and portable CD formats. So DON'T MISS OUT. There simply aren't enough to go around.

Burndowns- S/T LP
-Steve Anderson couldn’t stand the fact that the Radio Beats demise was way too early, he was restless, he had songs to write, albums to record, so using this pent up energy Steve put together the all star band of the decade...The Burndowns! Grabbing Chris from the Hamicks and SugarShack (of the late Estrus Records fame), he rolled right into a new band and a whole new rock n roll lifestyle. Keeping his trademark song writing style that consisted of Dwarves speed with Devil Dogs hooks, and his own raging vocals. 9 songs of a pure ragin rock n roll here. Comes with a free download card.

Blacks- Call The Shots 7"
-Hell spawn roots punk from SWEDEN! The two Savage Brothers and their drummer bang out 4 songs in the late Oblivians style. These boys can sure whip out the lo-fi, trash-n-roll like the best of em.

Blacks- Shattered 7"
-The boys from Sweden are back! 3 tracks specifically recorded and released for their east coast tour with Guitar Wolf. Now it's available to all of you who missed them on tour. Don't miss out on these three trash, rock-n-roll screamers from our boys at Savage.

Banatam Rooster- Mexican Leather 7"
-Bantam Roosters first release with new drummer Mike Alonso! Two of the most messed up songs they could ever write and they wrote them especially for Big Neck. So, take a siesta in Hamtramck, choke down a shot of tequila and put on some Mexican Leather!

The Things- Wild Psychotic Sounds LP
-Yes here it is, an albums worth of the ultimate garage rock horror. Each one grabbing you and twisting you until you dance. Since the Blowtops decided to change their sound, Big Neck had to find another creepy, horror driven, garage rock band. They looked to the ends of the earth and finally found these demons wasting crowds in Ireland. The Things bring back to the genre, great sounds, creepy lyrics with catchy riffs galore. Right up there with Haunted George, these guys are what every Horror Rock fan is looking for. Another winner for Big Neck

GitoGito Hustler- What’s My... 7”
-Gito Gito Hustler was formed in 1995 by four crazed punk rock girls and have toured the U.S. and the world a number of times. They’ve recently come to light with their critically acclaimed full length from Gearhead Records “Love and Roll”. Gito Gito decided that it was time to defect from Gearhead and grab a chunk of that good o’Big Neck. They wrote the 4 best songs ever, and layed down the tracks at Dan Radiobeat’s house in Pittsburgh. These 4 songs are quoted by many in the industry as, “The best thing I have ever heard from them.” They packed so much punch and pop punk into these 4 songs that they pushed the limits of what a 7” ep can hold and do. Special forms were signed to extend the play on the 7” to fit all 4 tracks. It was all or nothing to the girls and here is what you get. 4 pop punk, hurt me till I drop tracks from 4 vivaciously cute Japanese girls. What more could you want out of Rock and Roll?

V/A- Pain In The Big Neck CD
-Big Neck Record’s first compilation had to be something special, something big, and something that nobody could do without. So, we hit up 20 of the best bands for brand new songs, written just for this compilation and us. What you have before you is an dynamite laden congregation of rock n roll, punk rock, garage rock, and techno rock all wrapped up in the Big Neck package. It doesn’t get any better than this! All new songs from The Lost Sounds, The Baseball Furies, Sweet J.A.P., The Trailer Park Tornados, The Catholic Boys, The Tears, The Locomotions, The Mhz, The Blowtops, The Functional Blackouts, Sagger, Radio Beats, etc. Awesome cover from Mac Blackout too!!

Terrible Two- A + A 7”
-Out of the damaged punk rock scene in Detroit Michigan land of Red Red Red, from the ashes of the deceased Piranhas and Clone Defects comes their bastard child of rock n roll, the Terrible Twos. Practicing non-stop in X! Records basement with drug addicts, bums, and people of the streets as their audience the Terrible Twos have perfected their sound of damaged and never to be fixed punk rock. They are gracing Big Neck Records with these 3 originals never to be released again before their full length debut on Criminal IQ records comes out. Come and relive the glory of a sound all but abandoned by the Piranhas and the Clone Defects. Punk rock with an edge, punk rock that hurts, punk rock that changes you in ways you can’t conceive. Awesome record here. RECCOMENDED!!

Hollywood- Girl? 7”
-Their first official proffering finds the HOLLYWOOD threesome in the midst of their "Reformatory School-era" during this last turn of the century. Played on donated school equipment and recorded on a proper ghetto-blaster, stolen from the kitchen cafeteria; these songs demonstrate how the development of ostensibly straight, white, male youth's gets stilted by forced exposure to back issues of CELEBRITY SKIN, and BAD MUSIC FOR BAD PEOPLE. The tapes were only recently discovered last fall in the bathroom stall of a truck stop off of Interstate 95 - Scaggsville exit. Containing two muck-ridden grooves, and a true-blue summertime (s)hit about ugly girls as much as pretty emo boys, is forged in overly caffeinated adolescent chauvinism (read: virginity + broken glasses). - Dr. Rokenhymn, Chancellor at Maryland State Reformatory School for Boys A prelude to the HOLLYWOOD triumvirates' upcoming LP, HITS: AN ALL TIME LOW. HOLLYWOOD BE: Soupbone - Drums, Vocals Christian Death - Guitar, Vocals Tim A. DeGenerate - Guitar, Vocals

Red Red Red- Mind Destroyer LP/CD
-First of all this is by and far one of THEE best punk records I've heard in a long time. Ryan from the Parnhas has totally outdone himself this time. If you're keeping up with the current wave of garagey modern punk this record is a must have for the sheer freshness to the genre, and just for coming up with some sounds/chord progresions that haven't been aped a million times. I don't say it very often, but this record is ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL!! Here's what TERMINAL BOREDEOM. Had to say about it: "bursting off the turntable at first with "Disconnected" from the single (and not including the other track from the 7", so you need that too), it's a fury of white-hot guitar driven punk that barely stops for breath in its race to the finish line. Recorded over the course of a year and a half, you get a few different recording styles, some with a bigger drum sound than others, but all with amped-out guitar squeal and hoarse static-laden vox. Take the first Piranhas 7" and imagine if they worked backwards from there into a more primal punk-rock band. "Crash" and "Send Help" are middle-of-the record-favorites, but this thing reaches it's peak with the closing three-song salvo of "Head On", "Meltdown" and "Mind Destroyer", a trio of angry and chaotic explosions that are total physical and musical destruction. Loud, fast and in your face and containing some interesting arrangements, I wouldn't suggest operating heavy machinery or driving while listening to this, it's the aural equivalent of a high-speed chase that ends in a heap of twisted metal and bloody asphalt. Get out the way if you see this record barrelling down on you."

Rot Shit- The Worst Kids Ever 7"
-On a dark and stormy night, in a haze of alcohol and nondescript drugs Steve and Dan Radio Beat got together with their friends Jamie and Vinnie and decided to write the fastest, most retarded punk songs ever. Then the brilliant decision was made to throw in lyrics that were way over the top. What did they come up with? 12 songs of brilliance. Yes, I said it, 12 songs on one 7” EP! Beat that. The songs range from eating Hotdogs to a song about the Devil Dogs very own Steve Baise. From destroying bars in their live shows, to whipping and shredding live eels on stage Rot Shit has already made a name for themselves in the scene. And with a 7” that has 12 songs in under 6 minutes, each with catchy riffs, vocals that hook, and volume that may kill, Rot Shit is ready to take you on and your dog too. Review from 11/12/05 Horriblefest show at Moe's Bar in Cleveland, OH. "The show got out of hand as soon as it began, with Pittsburgh blast punks Rot Shit starting their set by whipping a live eel at the audience. Tables and chairs also got thrown around, and club owners threatened to stop the show two minutes after it began. Rot Shit played for about another three minutes, shoving crowd members, knocking their beers into their teeth, and quickly earning the wrath of most in attendance."

Fitts- Elastic Pacific 7"
-What do you get when you throw punk rock, garage rock, grunge rock and a wee bit of noise into a blender? You get Pittsburgh’s The Fitt, they are a 3 piece Rock Band from Pittsburgh with screaming guitars, howling vocals, and hell-bent drumming, influenced by Sabbath, riffs, and hooch. They incorporate all the previous styles into a seamless sound that is all their own. Their live shows are brawls on stage with each new song trying to beat each the other down. The Fitt are friends of The Radio Beats which entails wild crazy shows and some definite crazy ideas about rock and roll. The music is infatuating, you can’t stop listening to it until the last note is played or the last drum is kicked. Like an oncoming train, they don’t stop until the rock is done.

Blowtops- Tribute 2x 7"
-Our favorite horror rock, hellspawn offspring, The Blowtops have turned 10 years old this year. 10 years in a business that most bands break up before they even record an album. To celebrate this milestone, some of the Blowtops friends decided to lay down a few licks and record themselves doing Blowtops covers. From these recordings we at Big Neck Records have gleaned six of our favorite gems and are offering them to you in a deluxe double 7” package, with 4 colors of records (Blue, Yellow, Green, White) and a double sided cover chock full of information (created by our very own Dave Fatality or Dave New Fang or Dave Blow Up or Dave etc…). All Six Covers will blow you away with their morbid depravity, and with the fact that these artist have taken the Blowtops hits of the Macabre to an all new level. Jay Reatard “Venom Victims Wine” Tractor Sex Fatality “Judas Order” Vilent Lovers Club “Phone Call From a Corpse” The Mistreaters “Cannibal Lust” The Radio Beats “Brasshead Smash” Trailer Park Tornados “Within These Walls”. All 7”’s with different color wax combinations!

Tunnel Of Love-Rockin Rollin Bitches CD
-Tunnel of Love first released Rockin’ Rollin’ Bitches in LP form on Mister Records from Massachusetts. Apparently Mister Records only pressed a couple hundred copies and most of those went to the band or promos. Big Neck decided that we could not let this injustice be, no, we wanted people to hear Tunnel of Love’s genius. Their filthy dirty garage punk sound that creeps into your head and tears around your brain like that bug from Wrath of Kahn. We could not let this album slip into obscurity praying that the band would record some more songs, no we are re-releasing this sucker on CD for the whole world to witness. Come with us on a journey headed by 3 men in tights who play really filthy, super lo-fi, trashy garage super-rock. This record was recorded in their basement on a four track just before the place burned down.

ARMAGEDDON (USA)
BRAINBOMBS- 'Obey' CD
-For those of you who are unfamiliar with Sweden's Brainbombs, think prime Stooges riffery, recorded in a smelly sweaty basement, amidst scattered p*orno mags, corpses, weapons and human excrement. While a whining vocalist spits up seedu deramged lyrics and misanthropic tales of hyper violence. Then add in the occasional bleap of a demented-jazz trumpet and some fucked up fuzzy blown-tweeter bass. Sound good? It is.

Well here it is, finally available again, the CD version of this classic and essential Brainbombs release. 'Obey' has been out of print for several years & finally has been unleashed again. Obey hits hard with 8 tracks of serial killer-inspired dirge/noise/rock put through a No Wave filter. The audio equivalent of watching Henry: Portrait Of A Serial Killer... or having dinner with Albert Fish while Whitehouse records spin in the background. For ear pummeling noise addicts, this ones essential.

TKO RECOREDS (USA)
Channel 3- One More For All My True Friends CD + DVD SET
-A feature documentary that chronicles the history and ongoing adventures of the band CHANNEL 3 (CH3). Erik Carreon's film traces the band's beginnings, from Mike McGrann and Kimm Gardner's childhood friendship through the years of Cerritos garage practices and backyard parties, and finally headfirst into the tumultuous days of the 1980's SoCal Hardcore movement. The narrative is threaded through a centerpiece performance filmed at Alex's Bar in Long Beach, California: a memorable night which reunited the band with past members and friends from its storied history. Though it has all the requisite blood, booze, shit and piss of a proper Punk flick, "One More For All My True Friends" is ultimately a story of friendship and its jewel-like value against the grinding onslaught of time!!! The set includes a full narrative DVD with bonus features and a 20-Track CD with new studio and live recordings!!

Crowd- Letterbomb CD
-The year was 1978. The place was Huntington Beach, California. The band was The Crowd. And nothing would ever be the same again. The Crowd were in the vanguard of the Orange County beach punk explosion of the late 1970s. They helped create and define a timeless sound which remains influential even today, over two decades later. One of the first and one of the best bands of their era, The Crowd are still going strong as the new millennium begins.TKO is proud to release “Letter Bomb” (originally released by the now defunct Flipside Records in 1996). plus, The vinyl only EP, “Dig Yourself” (1995), has been added as bonus tracks to this CD. ARTIFIX RECORDS (USA)
Undertakers- Le Muerte 7”
-THEE UNDERTAKERS ,from East Los Angeles, first started practicing during mid-1977. They decided early on not to go for the "leather or New Wave look" and would instead wear black suits on stage to emulate their namesake. By 1978 they found Art, who became their singer. In 1979, the band hooked up with Willie Heron, from LOS ILLEGALS, who helped the band get on many bills at the Vex and other East L.A. clubs that would host punk shows. The band played heavily during 1979 through 1982 and played at clubs like the Vex, Starwood, Hong Kong Cafe, and the Whiskey to name a few. The band opened for many bands including D.O.A., ALLEYCATS, PLUGZ, GEARS, FLEASHEATERS, SUBURBAN LAWNS, and others. Thee Undertakers recorded their first demo in 1980 and returned to the studio in 1981 to record what was to be their first LP. The band was going to have their LP released through Tito Larriva's Fatima Records label (who released PLUGZ LP and THE BRAT EP), but after a falling out between Tito and the band, the record never materialized and sat in the can for twenty years. In 2001, Grand Theft Audio released their awesome collection of studio recordings from 1980-81. This Artifix Records release features live tracks recorded at the Hong Kong Cafe in 1980, and some studio demos that made up their last recordings from 1982.

Controllers- Another Sunny Day CD
-16 tracks of great rockin' punk featuring Johnny Stingray, Kidd Spike, Karla Maddog, and others! The CONTROLLERS were one of Los Angeles' first punk bands and they were the first band to discover Brendan Mullen's "The Masque". They were the first band as well as the last band to play at the original Masque. This CD is a collection of studio demos and an amazing live show that showcase what a truly unique, and often unsung, band the CONTROLLERS were. All of these versions are previously unreleased!

Benedict Arnold And The Traitors- Kill The Hostages 7”
-Benedict Arnold and the Traitors were a unique early 80's LA punk band that blended political and social issues into punk as they saw it. They released the highly offensive "Kill The Hostages" single at the heighth of the hostage crisis between the U.S. and Iran and caught a lot of negative press for it. They existed on what they saw as the fringe of the scenster punk scene and tried their best to annoy and offend everyone. The band started in 1980 and lasted until 1983 when they changed their musical direction and became the Antinomians. During their brief run, they managed to release one 7" single and one 7" EP of quirky aggro punk.

Kaos- Komplete Kaos CD-
A powerhouse collection of the unreleased tracks from pioneering Los Angeles punk rockers KAOS, whose only release prior is an EP on the legendary What? Records label. 'Komplete Kaos' features 17 previously unheard studio tracks from 1980, two demo cuts from 1990, a radio interview from 1980, and a Quicktime video of the band on New Wave Theater, circa fall 1980. Packaged with a twelve-page booklet of photos, flyers, information, etc., all laid out by RONN SPENCER who did the Angry Samoans' Back From Samoa LP, as well as the US releases for the Sex Pistols. All tracks recorded in1980 and none of these recordings have ever been released before! A must if yer keeping up on the early LA punk scene.

The Blacks- Shattered (The Complete Singles Collection) LP
-Here it is the complete singles collection from Martin Savage and the boys. They really made a mark in the garage scene when they were around because not many bands were doing this type of stripped down bluesey rock n roll. And we’ll let Martin Savage sum his band up: “There was something magical about those times. For me the first time I played in a real band. I remember not being able to wait until the next rehearsal, it was like being in love! "Let It All Hang Out" was the first song I ever wrote and it's 10 years ago now. Wow! I was a totallydifferent person back then. I still think it holds up now and there's always something desperate and cool about your first band. Here you got the complete recordings, well, the stuff we want you to hear. Everything that came out on the 7"s we put out. It was made during two years when we went to the States twice on tour. We didn't care about Sweden or Europe. We wanted to be from Memphis, New Orleans, Tokyo, anywhere but here... We were fueled by blues and punk and wanted to be a mix of the Gories, Oblivians and Guitar Wolf. Listening to it now, I really think we had our own sound though and the songs were pretty da*mn good! It certainly has that teenage energy. So get down, get with it and LET IT ALL HANG OUT! Yours truly, Martin Savage” LIMITED TO A MERE 300 COPIES!!!!

HAVOC RECORDS (USA)
Damage Deposit- Do Damage 7”
-Midwest DIY hardcore, with members of Code 13, Any Last Words, Sweet Jap, Encroach, and Miles Ahead. Critical thrash with sick breakdowns that comes across sounding like DYS mixed with contemporary bands like Tear It Up and Shark Attack. Lyrically this record takes on issues in the contemporary scene, political corruption and the destruction of the environment.

Damage Deposit- Straight To The Bottom 7"
-Damage Deposit’s second 7". Hard charging Infest influenced thrash core with punishing break downs and positive/political lyrics. Slick layout and sick production.

H100s- Texas Death Match 7”
-Cleveland Ohio's h-100's blast out crucial early 80's style raw thrash. The singer was a teenage kid with a really snotty voice. The rest of the band were thirty-year-old record collector dudes who were there when hardcore ruled and didn't forget. Although the h-100's claim 80's Japanese thrash as their main influence this record reminds me more of early Die Kreuzen, Poison Idea, Toxic Reasons or many other Midwestern thrash bands of the 80's!

Mob 47 – S/T 7”
-Here it is, a re-issue of Mob 47’s 1984 7" that was sometimes called "Karnvapen Attack". Everyone will remember these guys from the "PEACE" comp LP and "Cleanse the Bacteria" comp LP. They play 100% raw fast core thrash. Some of the very best, top 5 Swedish hardcorde here.

Kaaos- Nukke 7"
-Finland had one of the best hardcore scene's in the world in 80's. Taking their inspiration from UK bands like Discharge, Disorder and Chaos UK the Finnish band produced a pretty unique and aggressive style of hardcore. Kaaos was one of the best bands from this period. They released a split 7" with the Cadgers, an LP, a 7" and a split LP with Terveet Kadet. Hailing from Tampere (Finland's second largest city) Kaaos included members of Riistetyt, the Bastards, Varaus, Protesti, Kuolleet Kukat, and Kohu-63. Singer Jakke is still going strong in Positive Negative. This 7" was recorded in 1985 and originally released by Fight Records of Tampere, Finland in the early 90's. Havoc has licensed it for international release as part of an ongoing collaboration with Fight Records to re-release unheard classic Finnish hardcore.

FIGHT RECORDS (Finland)
Kaaos- Ristiinnaulittu Kaaos LP
-This killer LP was originally released by Barrabas Records in Finland in 1984. Fight and Havoc continuing our long standing partnership to re issue classics of Finnish hardcore teamed up to re press this classic. Kaaos were one of the foremost Finnish hardcore bands of the 80s along with Rattus, Terveet Kadet, Appendix, Bastards and Riistetyt. Kaaos has the trademark Finnish 80s sound, fast buzzsaw thrash riffs, reverby vocals, all over the placedrumming, and plodding bass. This re press has reproduced the original Crass style poster sleeve and contains three bonus tracks not on the original. Fight and Havoc also teamed up to re issue the Kaaos NukkeEP which is still available from Havoc. Also worth checking out is the Kaaos Totaalinen Kaaos LP/CD on Hohnie records which features their classic early 7" and compilation material. Kaaos continued into the 90s and 21st century and has several new releases on Fight Records as well as CDs versions licensed to Brazil.

PUKE N VOMIT RECORDS (USA)
Shocks-Endsiieg 7"

This falls somewhere between classic german punk ala the PACK and PVC mixed with more traditional first wave UK punk like THE DAMNED and a more polished SEX PISTOLS. Includes a cover of 'Just Another Unit' by LOS REACTORS! Great long standing German punk band here.

Violent Society- The Complete Punk Collection CD

A true punk collection every Violent Society fan has been waiting for packed together in one cool looking package.

Mudlarks- S/T LP
-Here it is, the debut full length from the Mudlarks. Two gals/two guys from northern Italy who love the punk rock. Evolving from their X-Ray Spex/Dead boys fueled retro punk rock of their 2003 highly appreciated 7” on Puke’n’Vomit, The Mudlarks have impressively transformed themselves into a retro first wave punk band thanks to some catchy licks and the addition of a new sax player. A must for any fan of female fronted late 70s California punk à la UXA, Avengers or the Nuns. Don't let the somewhat mundane lookin cover pic fool ya. This ones a keeper!! LP LIMITED TO 400 HAND NUMBERED COPIES. GET EM WHILE YA CAN!!

Prima Donna- Eat Your Heart Out HEART SHAPED RED VINYL 10"
-Punk poppin' down the avenue to a cock-rockin' beat, the Hollywood quartet Prima Donna epitomizes a modern take on the streetwise glam pioneered by the New York Dolls. Eat Your Heart Out is aggressive and dirty, but still fond of melody and unable to pass a mirror without checking for stray blemishes. Leader Kevin Preston knows his hunky hard rock hooks and sassy singing, and the rest of the band is right next to him on the runway. "Eat Your Heart Out" and "Doll Face Baby” will inspire as much posing as air guitar and chorus singalongs. File this one next to the Beat Angels, the Black Halos and later Makers, and pull it out at your next party. LAVISHLY CRAFTED HEART SHAPED RECORD HERE, AND HAND NUMBERED OUT OF 500 COPIES!! LIMITED COPIES AVAILABLE!!

Stench-7" "Moral Debauchery""
-After the demise of the rather good first wave band the Neon Hearts, nearby Wolverhampton, traditionally a haven for rockers and metalheads, found itself strangely devoid of recording punk bands, until a bunch of young outcasts kick-started the scene back into life. Although musically poor, The Stench were outrageous and obnoxious enough to light up the city's underground for a brief time, more on the strength of their anti-social antics than any sort of creative ability. Well this is a re issues of the bands first single that came out on Sticky Records. All three songs , 'Raspberry Cripple', 'Nonces' and 'Adoption', are bawled out by singer Pete O'Shea to a blurred backing of guitar, bass and drums played at 90 miles an hour. Another long lost blast from the pasted finally resurected!! RECCOMENDED!!!

V/A- Sudden Death CD
-Here it is the reissue of two classics on one CD. First up you get the 1982 'Sudden Death' compilation originally released on Smoke 7 Records. This comp. includes 2-3 unreleased tracks each from JFA (back when they were called Jodie Fosters Army!), SIN 34, DEMENTED, MORAL DECAY, CRANKSHAFT, SADIST FACTION, THE SINS, REDD KROSS, YOUTH GONE MAD, NAUGHTY WOMEN, and DEAD YOUTH. 'Sudden Death' is a HC classic for documenting the flourishing up and coming So. Cal. HC/punk scene in the early 80's. Following that are the ten tracks from GENOCIDE, which originally appeared on the Last Rites split with M.I.A. So all in all ya get thirty-nine tracks of ultra rare US hardcore!!

RF7- Addiction Of Heartache CD
-God it’s nice to hear somebody playing hardcore properly: with aggression, passion, balls, and brilliance. The songs here capture an urgency without lacking resorting to tuneless screaming. The vocals come from the gut, the lyrics are far from the usual generic junk, and the pace is fast despite these So Cal punks apparently going at it since 1979. RF7 has soldiered on for well over two decades and not because of any delusions of that big contract being right around the corner, but because it is in their blood to play. Putting up the instrumental muscle on this release, RF7's eighth full length, is a group of veteran hardcore musicians who lived through the first wave, and show us all how it’s done.

BURRITO RECORDS (USA)
F- 7" "Four From 84
-F, the band, the legend... These South Florida anti-heros began in 1981 and are still playing their patented slice-n-dice punk rock to this day. The four songs on this record were hand picked from a 1984 studio session, originally released as a cassette called, "The Danger is Here!" Few copies of the tape were made and still fewer made it out of South Florida. This is their first time on vinyl. Many myths, rumors and misinformation have circulated about F since their wild beginnings. The extensive interview and liner notes enclosed tell the complete band history, pulling no punches and leaving no stone unturned. Fans of Pagans, Dead Boys, Dogs, Pure Hell and Stooges need to hear this. Colored vinyl for you collectors to drool over, too.

Death Sentence- Until The End Of The Sentence (1985-89) CD
-Death Sentence terrorized the Australian hardcore scene from the mid 1980s to the early 1990s. In their time, they were the fastest band in the southern hemisphere and one of the fastest in the world. They have been compared often to SIEGE and D.R.I. A hard-working band, Death Sentence made numerous recordings. Everything the band ever released -- and more -- is on "Until The End Of The Sentence," a 50 minute, 35 song history lesson. The 24-page CD booklet is filled with live photos, lyrics, show flyers, a 1985 zine interview and other memoribilia. The music has been restored professionally so it is louder and stronger than ever. A must for all thrashers, hardcores and punks! Fans of Septic Death, Larm, Heresy, Siege, Ripcord and early D.R.I. should hear these guys.

-Belching Penguin - Demos 1985-1988 7"
-Final EP From Florida's BELCHING PENGUINS. This 7” features songs from their 1985 and 1988 demos-Classic 80's hardcore with extensive liner notes and info. the 85 demos features some of the great tracks that later were re-recorded on their classic "Draft Beer Not Me" Lp.

POLLY MAGOO RECORDS (France)
Lili Z.- The Two Of Us CD
-Long-player from the lovely Lili Zeller, home-recordings all done on 8-track during the fall of 2007. If you're only familair with Lili's work as a member of Volt, this disc bears a little resemblance to their dark synth-heavy sound and is obviously close in spirit to her previous solo recordings as well. Guitar, drum machine, and synthesizers all wielded with skill, tracks ranging from guitar-led punk rockers("Nix!Nix Nix!"/"Candeggina Burns"), synth-punk shockers ("Why"), moody and dark slow burns ("So This Is Love"), love songs, hate songs, weird punk experiments ("Dark Toilet")...a varied attack with interesting and different instrumentation on each cut, she must have quite an array of effects pedals in the living room. I've been following Lili since the Splash Four days and she's progressed quite a bit in her solo records making this her most well-honed effort to date. The fantastic booklet has a page for each song, which you can basically follow along to the music and get more of the story behind each song (lyrics, pictures, collages, cartoons) in a nice multi-media twist.

Brainbombs- Collection #2 CD
-Oh lord, are we ever in filthy, crusty, demented, depraved, misanthropic, sludge rock heaven! That's right, FINALLY, it's the second collection of 7"s from Sweden's mightiest musical export THE BRAINBOMBS! Everything we love about these musical miscreants is in full affect, the pummeling trash can percussion, the downtuned fuzz drenched ultra distorted guitars, the bizarre, sort of fey, sort of scary vocals, regaling tales of murder and mayhem, r*pe and torture, death and destruction, the warbly dented drunken trumpet, all wrapped up into a stumbling, hypnotic, and seriously fucking disturbed package.

This great collection includes the single that came out on Andee's tUMULt label, the most recent Stinking Memory 7" on Anthem, as well as the Wabana Gun Court single, the Ken Rock single as well as the Big Brothel single. Easily some of our favorite BB tracks ever, "Stigma Of The Ripper", "The Grinder", "I Need Speed"... fuck! If only more bands could do so much with so little. Stripped down and blown out, catchy as all get out but still grimy and brutal and very very very medded up. Also included are some rare live tracks, all time Brainbombs classics, "Urge To Kill" among them, recorded live in Norway way back in 1993. They sound appropriately distorted and low fidelity, and don't miss the hidden last track, a minute long, post performance Brainbombs sign off, with some demented crowd action, chanting for more. RECCOMENDED!!

TIC TAC TOTALLY (USA)
Mouserocket- Pretty Loud LP+CD COMBO
--The new release is a smooth, poppy album that bursts with a smart blend of sunny energy and moody edginess. The album’s 11 top-notch cuts...run the gamut from raw and jangly to crisp and electronic. Standouts include the epic "On the Way Downtown," the dreamy "Aphrodite" and the slow-building "Never Stand a Chance." There’s also a great countrified version of "I’m Set on You," which originally appeared on Mouserocket’s debut Empty Records LP in 2004. With its gentle mix of ethereal and gritty, this record is the perfect soundtrack for summer 2008.

Yokohama Hooks- Turn On 7”
-Debut 7-inch (not counting their split 7" with the Flip-Tops) from Spokane, WA's Yokohama Hooks. The Hooks stick you with their angular and medium paced punk rock stabbings, conjuring delusions of a bit poppier Lost Sounds. At least in terms of plain old pure driven intent. The two originals on this record stand firm in the grooves. These are the kind of punk rock songs that just exude a royal "fuck off" to any weathering the hands of time may throw at it. The cover of Bloodstains on the flip is also a nice reference, putting this 7-inch right at the scene of the crime. Haven’t heard a good retro sounding new wavey band in a while, and Yokohama Hooks definately give you a run for your money here. Pretty great single.

Snake Flower 2- Talk About It 7”
-Matthew Melton (ex-River City Tanlines, Bare Wires) serves up a home recorded variation on "Talk About It" from the upcoming LP on Tic Tac Totally. B-side is "Runnin From the Night", a softer and more eerie take on his classic sounding poppy rock n roll. The vocal tones sit amazingly over the mix and add to the pretty complex rockin of the rest of the band. Great trashy rockin debut and LIMITED TO 500 COPIES!!!

Hipshakes/Cococoma- Split 7”
-Split single action released for the Cococoma/Hipshakes US tour. The Cococoma original, "Never Be True", is a winner, fun and gutsy-and-catchy garage rock...I'm a bit critical of Cococoma releases, they're very hit or miss for me, and this is a hit. For some reason I think of them as perhaps one of the best true garage bands around right now (when they're "on" that is). And I'm a sucker for "whoah-whoah"-type choruses, and they got me with this one. The Hipshakes side: well, I'll be damned if these kids don't come through on this one! "Hurt My Pride" is stellar young limey snot, playful and reminding me of a Johnny Moped cut a bit. And they cover one of my favorite Cococoma songs ("All I Give") by simply eating it up and shitting it out in speedy and haphazard fashion. Real wild. This one's a keeper all the way. YOUR COPY WILL BE ON THE LIMITED EDITION PUKEY PURPLE-ISH/GRAY COLORED TRASH WAX!!

BLACK SUNDAY/LE JONATHAN REILEY- 'Split' LP
-Black Sunday (Alicja Trout's bedroom, solo, mad-science project) births a new and increasingly experimental collection of recordings, all risen from the loose soil of her Tronic Graveyard in Memphis, TN. This record pushes Alicja Trout's sound forward, straight from the brain with total control, while weaving all the boundary pushing tendencies through a format that also somehow embraces her trademark synth-heavy (ballsy) atmospheres, in harmony with those punk rock and garage rock meanderings. Her side of the split his is a series of metallic and beautifully "quasi-schizo" writing ideas all wrought in layers of heavy and decayed iron instrumentation, then glued together in mid-air by Alicja's particular brand of brutal and beautiful vocal magic. A must have for any fans of Black Sunday, Lost Sounds, Digital Leather or the Blank Dogs.

Le Jonathan Reilly provides us with a healthy new helping of their somewhat psychedelic post-punk / art rock noodling. This band actually hits that space between your ear-waves and brain-waves like Thomas Function does. On the whole think melodic new wave punk, incorporating semi-sweet guitar jangling and passive-aggressive delivery that leaves room for some psyched out and new wave sounds, but still knows when to blast off into harder territories. A nice compliment to the Black Sunday side.

DIGITAL LEATHER- Hard At Work LP
-The new Digital Leather full-length, "Hard At Work", pushes their synthesized, raw-pop further into the cold, detached aesthetics of the early synth-punk era. Equally at home compared to retro-synth-punk (a-la-The Screamers, Human League, Wire) and experimental club blasts, the record draws on common elements of brutality in these diverse musical examples, and delivers unusual melodic twists on this concept at full force without sparing your heart or your eardrums a second of peace. LIMITED TO 500 COPIES AND THIS COPY IS ON THE RARE DARK BLUEISH GRAY SPLAT WAX!! . Get it while ya can!!

Black Sunday- Cut Out 7”
- This 4 song single is really a mini-album of sorts. It's got a home-recording-ish feel but high strung with very strong songs. Big beats by Ryan Wong from Tokyo Electron, Destruction Unit etc. back Alicja's experimental rock here. A little like the Lost Sounds stuff, but less polished. VERY LIMITED COPIES AVAILABLE ON WHITE WAX. FIRST COME FIRST SERVE!!

The Pharmacy- Abominalble 7”
-THESE JUST GOT HERE! Abominable b/w Plastic Bugs. Sort of Beatle-esque melodic indie/garage rock. Two great tracks. Edition of 500 on white vinyl. Shows a lot of progression since their first LP, and complements the Overcast Summer 7" very well. LIMITED COPIES AVAILABLE ON COKE=A=EEEN COLORED WHITE WAX!!

MAD AT THE WORLD RECORDS (Canada)
THE MISGUIDED- Fuggets 1981 - 1984 CD
-One of the original "NY Thrash" bands, the Misguided, along with HEARTATTACK, THE FALSE PROPHETS, and THE MOB, were amongst the first generation of NY hardcore. This retrospective of studio, demo, and live material bears witness to that exciting, restless, and sometimes awkward time after the punk explosion in NY when kids forged their own sound with only the "loud, fast rules!" ethic as their blueprint. Refreshingly absent is the metal crunch that characterized later generations of NYHC. Influenced by the Dead Boys and the Jam, the Misguided took some cues from the DC bands of the time, stripped that sound down to its elements and injected it with a momentum and vigor almost bursting at the seams. Many people the world over front on that NYHC '81 sound; listen here for yourself. Includes members that later formed influential SST Records' proto-grunge act DAS DAMEN.

The ARSONS- Too Good To Be True CD
-"Too True to Be Good" marks Ernie Parada's highly anticipated return to playing guitars and contributing heavily to vocal duties for the Arsons, as well as the Arsons second full length for Mad at the World. Hardcore enthusiasts will note that the Arsons' last album, "Bridges Down," was the first recorded material featuring Ernie since his days in TOKEN ENTRY. The Arsons continue to pack a melodic hardcore punch in a similar style to the one Ernie and co-conspirator Jason made popular with their last band GREY AREA. The band's signature guitar hooks and vocal melodies collide with an uncontainable energy and vigor that belies their collective experience. "Too True to be Good" serves as a refreshing reminder that melodic punk doesn't need an "emo" tag.

OUT COLD- Goodbye Cruel World LP/CD
-As long terms fans of Out Cold, Mad at the World is happy to release Out Cold’s sixth full length studio album. Since the late 1980’s, Out Cold has ploughed their way through white knuckled hardcore with bulldozing precision. Out Cold’s abysmally bad attitude propels them through this album of frantically desperate, warp-speed punk, just the kind of hardcore punk legions of Out Cold enthusiasts have come to expect.

DERIDE- S/T LP
-The vinyl version of this thrash whirlwind masterpiece from Japanese ultra-destroyers DERIDE. Thrashy Japanese hardcore with a lightfooted speed and rousing grit rarely found among their stateside brethren. A mega-blast of absolutely fast, manic, and punishing hardcore action. Fans of whirlwind Japanese rock like OAC, GISM, Assfort must hear. Fierce.

9 SHOCKS TERROR - CD EP with bonus DVD
-A limited CD/ DVD package containing 9 Shocks Terror's songs from the split LP with Out Cold (which was subsequently scrapped and released on 7" format), and a complete DVD (worldwide territory) of live appearances by the band in Cleveland, Boston, LA, and more by one of the spearheads of the current thrashy hardcore punk scene. Blisteringly volatile hardcore thrash with the band's hallmark Japanese hardcore influences and heavy Motorhead- style bombast.

THE ARSONS - Bridges Down CD
-The second album from this New York hardcore band comprised of ex-members of GREY AREA, IN YOUR FACE, TOKEN ENTRY, WARZONE, BLACK TRAIN JACK, and others. An uncompromising album of powerful HC punk that operates on passion as much as on amps and electricity, as the band ceases trying to capture a sound, and simply becomes one.

TRENCHCOAT ARMY- S/T 7"
-The debut 7" by New York City's Trenchcoat Army serves you a dose of raw hardcore punk in the "loud fast rules!" tradition. The Line up features Wendy and Don, editors of the seminal New York magazine Guillotine (with roots as far back as 1982), and Jesse (formerly in NO CONTEST, went on to SOMETHING IN THE WATER) providing the vocals. It goes for that early 80's sound and actually has members that were around then. Jesse left the band shortly after this recording, which led, in part, to this release being limited to 500 copies. LIMITED COPIES AVAILABLE!!

PANOPTICON - Terminal Hierarchy of Waste 7"
-The sole release by the band that preceded THE BAD FORM, featuring Jared and Dan on guitar and drums respectively, and the enigmatic Johnny B on vocals. The sessions that produced this disk are the results of a pre-occupation with violence, surrealism, and jarring music that lay bare a deep affinity for thrashy punk.

NO CONTEST- Where Do We Go From Here? 7"
-The leftover copies (300 in total) of this record taken from its initial Slaughterhouse Records release. Pressed in a limited quantity, and receiving unfortunate distribution before Slaughterhouse folded, a number of these never made it in to covers. New, slightly different covers were made for this release; 7 songs of negative hardcore from a band whose fond moniker was the (aptly titled) New Jersey Asshole Brigade. Singer Jesse went on to front SOMETHING IN THE WATER. This 7” is currently OUT OF PRINT! LIMITED COPIES AVAILABLE!!

HUNGARY EYE RECORDS (Canada)
Phantom Limbs- Random Hymns LP
-The Phantom Limbs successfully mined the early San Francisco “no wave” scene and turn of the decade punk to conjure up their own unsettling racket. Having already secured their place in Bay Area music lore through their frenetic live shows and deranged antics, the Phantom Limbs have gained converts throughout the world with their previous two full lengths and their numerous tours. This LP, their last before an undetermined hiatus might very well be their curtain call. Crazed carnival punk—imagine T.S.O.L meets the SCREAMERS… with Darby Crash snarling the vocals. LIMITED TO 500 COPIES!!

The Holy Kiss- s/t CD
-Eerie Tenderloin-blues with a drunken swagger, lazy rhythms and drawling vocals by this veteran band & Bay Area favorites. They evoke an uncanny and confused imagery, like a soundtrack to a David Lynch movie, and make for appropriate companions to bands like the Birtday Party and Tom Waits. On this album the Holy Kiss makes a dark and sweetly discordant murder-ballad-inspired racket that's perfect for conjuring the limbo-treading spirits of the cheats, crazies, drunks and other societal castaways the band likes to sing about in its shadowy, Dickensian ditties. This release captures their rare, out of print, and hard-to-find early recordings, most available on CD for the first time.

Sixteens- Into the Gold Wave... CD
-Since their last record, Sixteens spent two years globe trotting with residencies in Barcelona, Berlin, and Oakland. As of two American tours (one opening for Blixa Bargeld and Savage Republic), and two more European tours across the continent, they've slimmed down to a two-piece and locked thesmelves in the studio to finish this long awaited follow up. With wailing synthesizers, throbbing beats, and dramatic vocals, they've managed to throw some color into the bleak cold-wave sound, like a riotous mixture of the Mute, Trax, and ZICKZACK Records catalogs.

The Witnesses- We’re Taking Over LP
-Raunchy, bluesy mod-rock from this NY outfit that features alunmi from the MOONEY SUZUKI and the RONDELLES. Total full-on, unabashed, un-ironic FACES-style rock from one of New York City’s best live bands. This LP was their debut vinyl outting, and got them signed subsequently to record two LPs. It won’t be re-pressed, so once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Bellmer Dolls- the Big Cats Will Throw Themselves Over LP
-They take their name from the dolls of Hans Bellmer, the German artist whose highly charged work characterized Europe's interwar period and foreshadowed the impending cataclysm of World War II. There is definitely something of the reckless abandon of the cabaret in New York City's Bellmer Dolls, as well as the cruel probing of the surrealist, making the Weimar-era artist an appropriate point of reference for them. This is the Bellmer Dolls debut release and is LIMITEd TO 600 COPIES!! Brooding, explosive New York post-punk from these ex-members of LOVELIFE, the VANITY SET, and Universal Order of Armageddon. Produced by Jim Sclavunos (GRINDERMAN/ Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, the Cramps, Sonic Youth).

Sixteens- Fendi LP
-Pulsing minimal beats and sputtering analog synths. Though they’ve got enough early-TUXEDOMOON bleakness in there, and have been described as an alternate soundtrack to Liquid Sky. Long time Bay Area band, and companions to the likes of the Phantom Limbs, the Vanishing and the Holy Kiss.

Another winner from No Front Teeth.

Cute Lepers- So Screwed Up 7”
-Well Briefs fans, here it is...the 2nd and way hard to find single from Steve E Nix's new band the Cute Lepers. It came out on a small label from Europe and went in out and of print in a few days. This is a copy on the way rare 2nd pressing and you should notice a big difference in the sleeve design. The cover on this pressing shows STEVE E NIX looking off to the right, as opposed to directely into the camera. Also the background on the single is a yellowish off white , instead all white on the first pressing. And probably the biggest difference is the logo is scrawled all the way down the left hand side in a completely different font. The first pressing had the band name written much smaller on and angle in the upper left hand corder. This copy is also on the LIMITED EDITION ORANGE WAX!! The 7" also includes a pull out insert that includes a few pics of the CUTE LEPERS!! If you liked the first single, this ones a must have!!

Broken Bottles- Harbor Town Homes 7”
-Ok OC Beach punk fans, this ones for you. This one alot harder to find as it came out a this pretty obscure label out of the UK. Two brand new cuts and BROKEN BOTTLES are sticking to the sound they’re known for... a time warp straight back to the Posh Boy-era of Southern California Punk Rock. You’ll be checking your calendar to make sure you’re not back in 1982!! Broken Bottles recall the more intense, moody days of punk rock where bands like TSOL, early Social Distortion and Shattered Faith once reigned So. Cal. Another winner here from the Bottles!!

GENDERLESS RECORDS (USA)
Suttree- In Ill Repeair 7”
-Here it is, the 2nd 7" from this Asheville, NC seven-piece ensemble who play what they aptly call 'Hillbilly Shoegaze'. The Cormac McCarthy reference works, as they play deep and reflective psychedelic-folk tunes, with banjo, tambourine and slide guitar working to give them a definite backwoods Appalachia vibe. Two songs on this, with excellent male/female vocal interplay and a haunted and creepily rural vibe. Features ex members of The Labiators, who released a great 2x7" a while back, and some of them have played with Don Howland in Burning Bush. And if you're still looking for credentials, this was mixed and produced by Asheville transplant Greg Cartwright of the Oblivians and Reigning Sound. Greg also plays Tambourine on the first A Side and twangy slide guitar on the B Side. Great music for Sunday evenings in the summer around dusk with a mason jar full of liquor at your side. These were LIMITED TO 500 COPIES. 400 on BLACK VINYL and 100 on GREEN VINYL. The copy you are bidding on is on BLACK WAX!!

Suttree- Dark Hollow 7"
-Here's some sun-faded, leathery, fairly sinister country from some folks from North Carolina who used to play with a fantastic loud rock trio called the Labiators. It's a large lineup here, with slide guitar, organ, and banjo filling out standard instrumentation. Greg Cartwright's production on the "7-track" (two four-tracks plugged into one another?) unfortunately loses some of the arrangements due to a crowded mix. But Suttree really has a very unique and soulful sound, so luckily you’re drawn in by the very creative and carismatic songs. They have a sound that's both lost and authentic to the times that spawned them, with "Dark Hollow" looking down the barrel of a mean country swagger and "Agave Blues" dragging along in sorrow, but punctuated by a beautiful framing, shot through by Paisley Underground leanings and a haunting, female-sung chorus. Great debut that the Oblivs or Reigning Sound fan will certainly enjoy. Edition of 450 in screened, letterpressed sleeves.

TWISTED CHORDS (Germay)

MDC- "Millions Of Dead Cops" Picture-LP
-The first MDC LP from 1981, is responsible for the cult around the band and the best hardcore songs ever written... 'Born to die', 'John Wayne was a nazi', 'Kill the light' and many more). For the first time in years this is available again in a sharp looking PICTURE DISC LP that also includes a pull out insert with the lyrics to all 14 tracks. ESSENTIAL!!

MDC- "Hey Cop! If I Had A Face Like Yours..." LP
-Right behind the fist LP this is one of the best and most essential MDC records. It contains 15 songs produced in the typical unique MDC-style: something between punkrock and early hardcore from the 80s. Nice looking packaging on this one too, with a pull out printed two sided dust sleeve including the lyrics for every song.

V/A- "Action speaks louder than words" LP
-17 band compilation here featuring a lot of previously unavailable material inclduing songs from Wasted, Oi Polloi, MDC, Ratos De Porao, TV Smith, klasse Kriminale, Sin Dios, Fleas And Lice and many more. LP includes a poster and a pull out 18 page booklet including and insert from each band.

EAT RECORDS (USA)
Artificial Limbs- Out of Order 7"
-Debut vinyl release from this Tri-Cities trio (who I believe may now be defunct), containing the deviant mind behind Leper Print and someone who was apparently in The Girls at some point. Four tracks that pick-up the pieces of destroyed keyboards and drum kits and fuse them into some crackling synth-punk, recorded with lots of hatred and little audio fidelity (i.e. a winning combination). If you enjoyed Leper Print, this follows much of the same tack: "garbage can drums" (as stated in the credits), double-synth attack, manic vocals, anti-social subject matter...noisy, static-ridden, agressive. "Subserviant" is the meanest of the four tracks, full of piss and hiss, the soundtrack to the apocalypse going down in the basement where these guys practice. They wind their four tracks up with "Time & Age", kicking the synth to the curb and letting a guitar poke its neck in the shitstorm for a dose of lightspeed punk with a sharp and dark edge. Bleedingly raw stuff here, perfect for someone who is looking for, say...something by Destruction Unit, but even more angry and ugly. LIMITED TO 300 HAND NUMBERED COPIES!!

Haunted House- S/T 7”
-Haunted House is here to prove that synth music doesn't have to be stale and unoriginal. Having a pop oriented back bone Haunted House mixes things up in a Factums, Blank Dogs, Destruction Unit sorta way. The trebble heavy keys give their music a very dark feel, but the vocals counterbalance the darkness. What proves more than anything about the strong abilities of Haunted House is that they’re able to inject thriving new life into something as regurgitated as synth rock. LIMITED TO 300 HAND NUMBERED COPIES!!

MY FAT ASS PRODUCTIONS (USA)
V/A- Funhouse Comp. Thing CD
-Well-above average comp of mainly garage-type bands, along with a few traditional punk stylists and centered around a Seattle club called the Funhouse. No wimpy shit. I’d heard of a handful of these bands before—the Pulses, Earaches, Gas Huffer (how long have they been around now?), Fall-Outs, The Sermon, Girl Trouble and I’ve heard the Blank-Its rockin’ album since getting this disc. If you like primal sounds, this is the ticket and there’s a variety here, from the rawness of the Primate 5, Ape City R&B to the(e) Headcoats-inspired Armitage Shanks to the nervier, almost new-wavish Cripples. I can’t possibly review all 32 songs but, listening through, there were only one or two songs I felt the urge to skip past. That’s the sign of a winner. Compiled from unreleased songs, alternate takes and vinyl-only releases.

V/A- Funhouse Comp. Thing #2 2 X CD
-Like the first one, this is a compilation of un-released tracks by bands who have played the Funhouse, the little Seattle night club that could. This time around they tricked some of the bands who ducked out of volume 1 into being on this one. Most of these bands are from Seattle. There's also bands from other Pacific NW areas like the Tri-Cities, Vancouver BC, Tacoma, one band from California, and 8 acts from Oregon - including a track recorded live at a Funhouse show by The Pierced Arrows, Fred & Toody Coles post Dead Moon Band. The Strap Straps were recorded live on my radio show Sonic Reducer (listen Saturday nights in Seattle on 90.3fm or online anytime at kexp.org). For international flair we've included Australia's Digger & the Pussycats, who played an amazing set when they toured though Seattle in 2007. All these bands are excellent & have some interesting stories to tell, so please look them up on the interweb & see what ya been missing. The track list really speaks for it’s self. Pretty solid line up of pacific NW garage punk and beyond.

The ‘S/T' debut full length from JUANITA Y LOS FEOS packs 12 new and unreleased songs from Madrids newest bunch of rock n roll derelicts. JUST IN
ACME RECORDS (USA)
ZOOPARTY- YOU ARE HERE CD
-Yet another band from Sweden. When will this little country run dry? Here we have a solid album of bold, soaring punk rock with a decidedly melodic bent. Zooparty is a new band, but it's members are veterans of the Swedish underground punk scene going back to the early '80s. They were fortunate enough to recruit both Brian James (The Damned) and Glen Matlock (Sex Pistols) to participate on this, their first album, on both guitar and production duties (the first time they've worked together since Iggy Pop's New Values tour in 1979, and the first time they've worked on a studio project together). Not surprisingly, Zooparty have a markedly Damned/Pistols/Professionals sound with big, anthemic melodies and catchy, infectious songs. Overall, a bit poppier than what you've come to expect from Acme, but after a couple of listens I was hooked. I'm sure you will be too.

OUT COLD- GOODBYE CRUEL WORLD CD
-Hardcore punk rock the way it was played circa 1981/1982 before heavy metal (and later rap) somehow worked it’s way into things and confused everybody. 14 angry, nihilistic, scathing sonic assaults that are over in under 21 minutes.

BAD CHOPPER- S/T CD
-It took forever to finish, but alas, here it is: the debut full-length of Bad Chopper is finally out and well worth the wait. For those of you who don't know, Bad Chopper is the new band of ex-Ramone CJ Ward. This outfit has been called the best ex-Ramone effort out of them all, and I would have to agree. CJ brings his signature songwriting and sense of melody to these 12 tracks of simple yet effective rockin' punk tunes. Not attempting to resurrect the Ramones, but rather just channelling his innate gift for writing great catchy, from-the-hip punk rock. One listen to this and you'll understand how he made the cut in that most important punk rock institution that was the Ramones. This recording is given loving production care by longtime Ramones collaborator/producer Daniel Rey and features lead work by the great Walter Lure o
